HELP! Will change in thyroid medication upset my levels before surgery?

UGH! I just went to the pharamacy to pick up my Levoxyl (for hypothyroidism) and it is no longer made. It has been replaced by a medicine called "Unithroid" and is the same mcg (125) as my Levoxyl. I seem to recall some people saying that their levels were "messed up" when they changed thyroid medications...and my surgery is SUPPOSEDLY in 6 weeks! ACK! What do I do? All suggestions GREATLY appreciated! *smile* (P.S. Of course the pharmacist told me it would be fine. Phooey to him, although I hope he's right! LOL)
