If all goes well, how will I feel 2 weeks after my Open RNY?

My surgery is scheduled for December 10th. I'm starting to get concerned about Christmas. I plan to have my shopping done before I go into the hospital, but my worry is Christmas Day itself. I have 3 young children and I don't want to ruin their day. Our usual tradition is to visit the homes of two of my sisters and one good friend. No one will expect me to do much of anything during these visits, but will I be up for them? I'm thinking it may be easier than staying home and feeling responsible for dinner, etc. I really would love to enjoy our traditions because they mean so much to us, but I also want to be realistic. Any thoughts? Thanks, guys.
