Dry Heaves, Nausea early in the morning

No Im not pregnant, but I seem to be suffering from morning sickness. Horrible nausea and dry heaves. Nothing come up...but I cannot control it. I am 3 months Post-op...could it just be hunger?? It usually goes away after I eat. But sometimes not.....HELP.
