Different methods of Abdominoplasty

I'm reading some of the TT/abdominoplasty issues and realized that there are different methods that surgeons use. I have my TT/hernia repair in 2 weeks but have to meet with the surgeon for preop. I've heard from others in my PP practice that the TT gets rid of the verticle scar. Basically he cuts an eyeball shape and then sutures thigh to thigh. Another PP I consulted with said she was going to use the existing GB verticle scar to bring in my waistline to give me the hourglas figure I want. She said she would 'invaginate the skin into the existing scar. (Open up the verticle scar and pull the skin from each side, clip the excess and resuture.) It seemed to make sense, Doing it the otherway, pulling the skin down and reattaching it to the tops of your thighs seem (for me) would not give me an actuated waist line. I'm already boxy. What has been you experience, do you have pictures you care to share?
