Hi Kirk, Just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. This scripture is something I wanted to share with you~~God will not let your foot slip--he who watches over you will not slumber . . . The LORD watches over you--the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD wil keep you from all harm--he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. (Psalms 121:3,5-8) You have inspired and encouraged so many people with your journey here. I believe that this is a gift from God and He will continue to use you as a testimony to others. Dearest Kirk, I don't know why some of our challenges are bigger than others. My guess is that few are chosen to serve as heroes for those faint of heart. You have inspired and motivated and your OH family is greater and stronger because of you. When you focus on your "happy place," I for one know that you have what it takes to get there. Dearest Kirk, I don't know why some of our challenges are bigger than others. My guess is that few are chosen to serve as heroes for those faint of heart. Hi Kirk, I am a pre op, just beginning the journey you began a few years ago. I just read your profile and your life and what you have accomplished inspirers me, and I'm sure who ever reads it. It sounds like you have many friends here at ObesityHelp.com. I too find this site an absolute treasure. I frequent the over 50's forum and find the people there responsive and generous with there knowledge. Even though I have not heard of you until today you too have generously shared with me your experience, your family pictures, your accomplishments, and encouragement to those you've never even met. Your life is a gift to so many of us, so thank you. It sounds like you are going through another difficult time, and though I don't know you, I know you. You are my traveling compadra, and my heart is with you and you are in my thoughts. Learning to accept life on life’s terms is very hard to do sometimes. But you know about hard and it's made you the compassionate man that you are. I hope to hear from you and to see the next adventures of your life. Your new friend, Sharon
