I spoke to Teena this morning and she is doing well. She has been up and walking this morning and isn't in too much pain. She will probably go home tomorrow morning.

Teena--I wish I could be at the hospital right now keeping you company, but I had to give up my bed so you'd have somewhere to lay down and clutch your pillow close to the left side!!! Mary is a wonderful nurse---she answered the phone when I called and said you were down having that gosh-awful GI/leakage test--give me berrium anyday after that!!!! Hopefully you are fine and Dr.M will release you soon! Thank you so much for being there for me...hopefully I can be there for you too!!! *hugs* bambi :o)

I just called the hospital to check on Teena and she is in recovery and doing fine. Nothing unusual or any problems with the surgery. The only problem was that she was originally scheduled for 7:30 a.m., but was changed to 10:00. She had to wait around for quite awhile. She will be in recovery all day and night and will go to her room tomorrow morning.

Teena, best wishes for an uneventful journey to the "losing" side! You'll probably be nervous on Thursday, but just remember how much you want this and how much it's going to change your life for the better!
