12-27-2001 I called Hillcrest Hospital this evening to see how Paula was doing and the ICU nurse said she was doing just fine and all went well. I will call again tomorrow to see if I can go by to see her. All those prayers have been answered, Thank you Lord!!! feel free to email me if you have comments. Paula were all praying for a speedy recovery.

Paula...What you're feeling is completely normal! My surgery was December 10, 2001 and I went through the same thing...just remember, you're doing this for YOU, and YOUR HEALTH...although I was/am a "fit" fat person, I knew eventually I would pay the price of being MO. I decided to have WLS as a "preventative" measure...and YES, I'd do it again...even though I have no idea how much weight I've lost! LOL Good luck and blessings to you...

My sweet Paula... It's ok to be nervous but you will succeed and I will be here to support you!!! I know you are feeling scared but we have a great surgeon and Dr Bour shares our faith in this program and takes an involved part in our success. Katie and Kim Dr Spearman and Dr Bour will all be there for you and I will too. Most importantly God is with you and I have faith you will be fine. Meanwhile I am praying and I am here if you need me.

paula i think we all have these kind of thoughts from time to time but know you have an army of people praying for you ,first to have peace in your spirit then for a safe surgery mary hughes
