Oh my goodness, Yvonne, you are so sweet! I'm blown away by your kindness and concern to me, a perfect stranger. Thank you so much! I have spoken with my Dr. and they suggested I go back on liquids for a week and call them back if it's not better by then. I will keep you posted and thank you for your friendship, it means so much!

Lori bless your heart. Has your doctor scheduled an EGD or anything to look for a possible stricture?? You definitely need to tell your doctor that you haven't eaten in 4 days. Don't feel like you are bothering the doctor because this could be something serious that needs to be fixed. A stricture can be fixed easily. I'm worried about you so please be agressive with the doc OK? Welcome and so glad you're here.

Hello Everyone, My name is Lori and I'm new to the group. I had WLS on 8/15/11 and have been doing great until about a week ago. I have had tummy troubles (pressure and a lil upset/ache constantly, unless it's totally empty) for the past 8 days. I have followed my Dr.'s orders perfectly, no eating of anything not recommended or too much. I'm a bit worried as she mentioned a potential stricture, or possibly just something irritated my stomach. I haven't eaten at all now for 4 days, and am having trouble getting my protein down. Has anyone experienced this?

At any rate, I want to thank our leader for being such an inspiration and source of encouragement. It is much appreciated!
