5 day pouch test

Well this is it, I am starting the 5 day pouch test Monday as I have managed to put on 20 lbs.  Anyone have any input or tips about it?

Be prepared for the headches the first two days.  Drink plenty of fluids and when I did it, I aso had protein pudding and chicken and beef broths.  You are basically detoxing from carbs which are causing the weight gain.  Good luck, you can do this.

 Good luck!  I think I need to do the same thing.  I have gained 10 lbs and want to get in control of myself now.  This is going to sound stupid but what is the 5 day pouch test?  I have seen it posted before but not sure exactly what all you do!

supposed to help you get rid of the carb cravings and get the restriction back.

I went today and got some chicken and beef broth and some cream of chicken soup.

Hope it works!

I am going to do it too Karen - I have spent all weekend getting ready.

I am up 40 pounds now and worse than the weight gain is the horrible way I feel.  I commend you for doing this now.

We can do it - let's make sure we check in every day.

wait up!!  I want in too!  lol.  I need to get with the program again and focus on my eating and weight.  I've been feeling pretty crappy which is due to my not so healthy menu.  I think my head is getting in the zone and I'm confident I can stick with it and lose these extra lbs.

I do the 5-Day when I know I've been very bad. My headaches aren't too awful, but they are real, so be ready for them. I'm resting my pouch today, so I'm in by default - just gonna stick with it for a  much-deserved 5-day.

Off on day 1 - doing well so far but it's early, lol.

I am dreading the headache but we can muscle through, can't we?

Keep up the good work.   We will have these cravings nipped during this holiday munch fest.
