As most people here *****ad my post know I am having trouble with eating...I have a friend I work with and he told me about the Dukan diet...I am looking up on it...it is pretty much how a WLS patient should be eating...(in my opinion)
What do you guys think...I have issues with "needing" an eat this type of instruction...once I get going I do fine...I just need some structure guys...Just me looking for help..
hope everyone is doing well...!!

Okay, I went to the Dukan Diet website to check them out.  It is really close to what I am doing now without the counting of numbers and the online coach.  If this is the structure that you need, then I say go for it.  As a member of the BOTT group, we want everybody to succeed and to do what ever they need to, to get healthy and feel good about themselves.  I look forward to hearing from you how it is going.  I wish you great success with it.

Hi Tess...
I am going to be counting after my first two weeks...well i am kinda now..i am starting today my co worker kinda told me what i can and can't eat...I AM EXCITED ... Monday I adv hubby the kids would have to start riding the bus in the mornings to give me time to exercise in the morning...I need this...( i usually bring them..2 different schools and a sitters for the baby) but if i still get up at 4 am i will have time to fit everyone in...including ME ...
the only thing i noticed...is my portions...the protein is HIGH carbs for today are less than 50..
i know this is only for 2 weeks but seems low...idk...i need, WANT to loose 40 lbs...  then i will be at MY goal...(180 lbs) my lowest ever was 197... sooo here i go...AGAIN lol

The concept of a "diet" is harder for us and what gets us in to trouble and sets ourselves up for failure.  We do have the tool and hopefully the guidelines to get ourselves going.  A lot of people do follow up with weigh****chers or some type of program to keep themselves on track and accountable.  If you need that structure and think this will work for you then go for it.  As long as you are getting the right foods in and following all the other areas you should be fine.

When I started my back on track plan in May getting ready for my son's wedding I used this and it worked really well for me.   If you are interested in not purchasing the entire book let me know and I will post the eating plan here.

Take care,
Kathy
