Back On Track Together
Friday cardio & cafe
Just got home from the convention and I am bone tired... Here is my food for the day:
28 oz diet peach Snapple
Iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
B: Jimmy Dean turkey sausage, egg white, cheese whole wheat bagel
L: Lean Cuisine herb roasted chicken with vegetables
D: 1/2 whole wheat tortilla wrap with greens, carrots, tomato, swiss cheese, chicken, avocado, honey mustard dressing (probably about 1/2 tbsp) and 3-4 french fries
S: Pure Protein Chocolate Deluxe Bar
12 oz water
I then danced vigorously for about 30 minutes. In a previous post I had said that my line in the sand tonight would be no sugar/no fried. I remembered that after the third french fry. I am letting you all know this to stay accountable. I feel like a huge success tonight. It has been a long time since I have stayed in a responsible place with my food on a Friday night, let alone when I am away in a social setting. I really feel that this challenge is helping me immensely. I will be back at the convention tomorrow. This wrap sandwich that the hotel restaurant serves seems to be the best thing going for me. I will also bring a protein bar and tomorrow drink more water.
Night everyone :)

Here's to never forgetting where I came from so I never have to return...
Thursday and Friday were really terrible eating days; couldn't do a routine at all as I was having
a chemical stress test which meant I had to be fasting for 7 hrs prior to the test and the tests were
both at 1:30 PM!!
So I could eat my normal breakfast, but couldn't have ANY caffeine (argh!) for 24 hours previous.
Then that took me for seven hours before the test and then another 2 hours for the tests them- selves, so it was after 3 PM before I could eat again. I was really worried about my tendency to
RH, so I took a couple of Clif Bars (240 cal, 10 g protein) which I ate immediately I was finished.
Then of course the actual injections tired me out, for some reason, and I slept like a log when I
finally got home. Throws my whole day off when that happens!
I found myself snacking, not able to do a focused meal, so I tried to keep it protein first, even if I
did eat at odd hours.
I really want to get back to the gym for strength training, but I have to wait for the results of the
tests before I do. I have my consult with my PCP next week, and hopefully will be able to get
back into working out then.
Wish me luck!!
