I had WLS 03/17/2009. I have lost over 140 pounds and I have 90 more to go. I have not gained any back, but I have maintained by eating very wrong This just tells me that if I am maintaining by eating bad I could be losing if i just eat right.

So I am starting over. Tomorrow is my starting point. I just wanted to put this on paper. I first goal is to lose something by the end of July. I dont want to put a number, but something. I am also challanging my self to exercise 3 times during the week after work and once on the weekend.

you know what they say about timing, right?

Your post was exactly what I needed to hear.  I am off track.  I haven't gained anything, but my eating habits have been terrible for the past 5 months....I looked back and found out why.  It turned out to be a very stressful spring season with a committment that I made and lots of drama.

Just for today, I am keeping track of what goes in my mouth.  2 weeks ago I committed to exercising....I walked 3 miles a day 4 days last week.  Yesterday I rode my bike for 10 miles.

Let's see what tomorow holds.

Thank you again.  Your timing was perfect!

Great attitude Brebre. Never give up. I thought I had given up. I'm 6 1/2 years out, never made goal and weight came back when I quit smoking...I just decided to get back on track last Wednesday. It's never too late. Keep going and know that we are all here for you. I started blogging everyday to hold myself accountable for what I put in my mouth. It helps me do better in my mind because I don't want anyone to think I've become that old 308lb woman again. 39lbs to goal. We can do it !!!  ALL OF US!!!
