Hello all!!!
I am trying to find anyone here in WV that has had revision surgery. I have been on the revision forum but has yet to meet anyone from WV. I have a appointment with Stickler but I am not sure he has done any. I do know that Dr Shin has done a few. Anyone?

My cousin went to Dr. Shin. She sings his praises. Keep me updated on which dr. you find is best for you. I am personally going to Dr. Nease in Huntington.

Topic: Anybody in Weirton/Steubenville area
I am currently looking into surgery and since we live in such a small area I was wondering if anyone has had their surgery in this area and just had a few questions.

I am pre op and everyone here in VA uses Unjury. You can get it on line. I am from WV so I visit this site to check out how it is going there! I have not tried this myself, but am told it has a very good taste. They have samples you can buy so you don't end up with a lot of stuff you won't use. I hope this helps.

Good Luck to you. I had Gastric Bypass March of 2002 for all the wrong reasons. Now I am back in the same situation gain having gained all the weight back. I am now seeking to have the revision done. I am not tring to be a downer but you must be honest with yourself about the surgery because it is not a quick fix and is not easy. I was suppost to be a lap but mid surgery he had to open me up and the pain was the most horrible pain I ever experienced. I was cut from my strenum to past my belly button, I vomited for a whole year. Please just be honest with yourself and if you do not take care of working on your inside it will not work. It truely takes a 360 of your world for it to work . I know from experience I am now working on me and I am now ready for my revision because I know now it is more then just being food restricted it was more of a reprogramming for my self. GOOD LUCK and I hope you do well!!!

Have you heard if they allow the mini gastric bypass? I am looking at both of them as an option and am unsure which would be the most beneficial. Does the MD at the hospital decide which is best for each person individually or is my PCP involved?
Is it natural to have a 'let's do it now' feeling? I'd go tonight if I could.
Thanks in advance for any help and/or tips on this process.
Topic: Revision Surgery
Even though that is a sad face my hope is alive again. I had Gastric Bypass surgery March of 2002. I was 340lbs to 198lbs then I got pregnant. I was only a little over a year out. I had my baby June 2004 and went up to 250lbs I also went through a major depression. I got pregnant again in 2005 had a miscarriage then got preganat again. I had my baby May 2006. My body has been though the ringer. I was again faced with depression after the birth. I looked in the mirror after getting put on Lexapro and I was 330lbs again. My heart dropped. So now I am looking into revision surgery, Has anyone else had it?
HELP I see Stickler June 16th I hope i get my second chance.
