WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Those carbs are soooo addicting!! Why can't Protein be like that.....???

There are a set of steps right out our office door and I thought about doing them a few times every day but I'm afraid it will make my loose skin even worse than it is now.

Sounds Good!

Happy Tuesday Morning LW's!!! Hope you all had a relaxing weekend! One of our former All-Star cheerleaders got married on Saturday and I totally took to many trips to the cookie table (spaced out of course so I didn't dump). I was at my 3 pound range low that morning @ 118 so I figured I had a little leeway so I enjoyed them. I passed on the cake though. 2 days later and the scales still look good so no harm done. I had more sugar than I would on a normal day but nothing like I would have done before WLS.

34° Crackers is the name of them. Amazon sells them. Nine crackers are 50 calories. I like them with Laughing Cow and peanut butter.

I worry about our posters too. I was pretty upset when Jody, Linda and Price stopped posting. I do check them out of FB every once in awhile just to see if they are ok.

Afternoon LW's!!! DH and I spent most of the day sitting in the Drs. office. In Feb. He had some disks in his neck repaired and every since then he has been in as much pain as before the surgery. I might have mentioned he went to a Paid Dr. and got some shots which have eased up the sharpness of the pain. Yesterday we took all of his test results etc. to a different surgeon and he agreed with the pain Drs. results. The Surgeon replaced 2 sections but didn't touch the worse of the 3 sections. They were both VERY verbal about their opinion of this. Another surgery has to be planned. DH wants to hold off and see how long the shots last before setting a date. He's talking about waiting to do it in the fall.
