OT: Miss Izzy update :)

She's home and pissed cause they not only had the nerve to stab her with a needle three times, they even shaved some of her fur off to get to her skin.

They are checking kidney function...if that is bad, then it's bad. But if her kidneys are okay, she could have a UTI or her arthritis flaring.

So we are home with orders now to try and get some glucosomine in her.

Thanks...two of the shots were preventitive medications in case it was a UTI...We'll know more tomorrow when the bloodwork comes back. He also wanted a urine sample but the brat would not cooperate. :)

Hope you get good news for your fur baby!
I have had a tough time with my dog due to severe arthritis at age 7.....every time a flare up happens I am get afraid that "the time has come". Praying her kidneys are okay and she can have good quality of life.

i don't know about cats but there is something you can give lady dogs if they start leaking.  it works great and our 15yr old only has to have it for a couple of days every few months for it to help her.  She has some liver something going on that because of her age, they don't want to do aggressive testing.  Her back legs don't work very well and she won't eat dog food.  Other than having to guess what she will eat and cooking for her, she is still happy and seemingly comfortable.  When she totally stops eating or is uncomfortable, it will be time.  At this point, she is queen of the house and we are her servants, happy to still have her around.

I'm so glad you got a little more time with your kitty.  I am praying that she will get better.
I have taken JJ to the vet at least twice worried about what he would say and both times it was treatable.  One time he needed an enema which I thought was funny considering how I was thinking I would have to make that decision.
I pray for many more days with a healthy kitt.

Sending positive thoughts your way!! Hopefully, her kidneys will be fine. Swinging all my critters for good news. I have 4 furballs, so I know how special they can be.
