Pouch is grouchie lately

Been taking my pepcid everyday, but lately my stomach is feeling a little irritable, like a burning sensation. Mild but just enough to be annoying.
I dont know if I should switch to prilosec or try going back to the pepcid twice a day. The only thing that has changed, and it s been a little while is the prescription iron. I dont take any nsaids, and really dont even use tylenol anymore.
Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Are you eating a lot of tomato products?  Mine does this when I eat lots of foods with tomato products in them.  Once I had to get the Carafate to get it to clear up.  It worked really good.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Linda, I havent really had any tomato products lately. Been doing alot of meat and veggies. Protein coffee in the mornings. Except I had made some poached cod in spicy tomato broth last week.

i think the prilosec is stronger than the pepcid.  I would try either going back to that or doubling, maybe one am, one pm the pepcid.  I don't take iron so I don't know if that could be part of it.

good luck.  I don't like having a grouchy pouch.

Thanks Price, I just got some prilosec today, trying the pepcid 2x a day was a little better, but not enough. Hope the prilosec works.
Or I might be off to the doc for some carafate like Linda had used.
