Good Morning. What do you do now if you don't graze?

I'll be 5 years out this summer and I know I could start gaining weight if I'm not careful. I'm a grazer and I need to find other things to do to keep me busy. What do you non-grazers do? Need ideas. Thanks.

I drink extra protein to kill the cravings or have a protein bar. Depends on where I am and how busy I am.. Also if I am at home.. I grad some cheese or lunch meat and roll it together and eat it with nothing else.  One of those usually works for me.

i don't consider myself a grazer but I still eat many times during the day.  I just think about it as meals.  Otherwise, I drink.  I have protein coffee before breakfast, hot tea before lunch, protein or something to drink before my 4pm meal, a protein shake or hot chocolate before bed.  I think that helps me.  Plus, I don't keep a lot of snack stuff that I would go for.  DH wants sweet rolls and cracker stuff and I would want salty stuff.  If I really am craving salty, I nuke pepperoni as one of my meals.

I'm a grazer, too. It's a struggle.

It's a struggle for me, too. When something becomes a problem like soy nuts and SF fudgesicles, most recently, I stop bringing them into the house. I track my food, so when I reach a certain number of calories, carbs, protein, and fat, I stop eating. Sometimes, I'll go over the amount, but not enough to cause serious weight gain.

Food tracking and exercise are my life savers, as well as online and face to face support. It is a constant battle, but so far, I am doing okay, maintaining within a two pound window since mid-April.

I leave a certain amount of calories for the evening, since that is my difficult time.

Lately, I've tried adding a protein drink after exercise and this seems to take the edge off the evening munchies.

I'm a grazer too.  I try to distract myself.  If I can't I try to drink something instead.

Guilty of grazing and lurking. For me...I graze out of boredom not actual hunger. Constant battle. Just this week I made a list of small tasks to be done -- a job jar if anyone is familiar with that term. So... The idea is when the urge to graze appears, I do one of the jobs instead as a distraction.
