OT Prayers, Swinging Critters, Whatever You Got
My heart is breaking for a person I haven't even met.
My boyfriend's niece is in heart failure and on the transplant list. Of course hearts are short, as is time as her health if failing so they are doing a procedure next Tuesday, a LVAD, basically a mechanical pump to hopefully keep her alive until they find a heart.
I heard about her struggle and saw a picture of her on Facebook with her dog, who was finally brought to the hospital to visit with her and how happy she was. I had to send her a message letting her know I was praying and I told her about my dog babies and sent their pics.
She added me as a friend and then I got a message saying that she added me as a family member. I don't know if she meant to do that. I am not married to her uncle but I accepted and listed myself as an Aunt. I sent her a message just letting her know I wasn't sure if she meant to add me as a family member but I was honored to list myself as her aunt.
Just reading her Facebook makes me so sad. She is young, about 30 and so scared. She will have to stay in the hospital for 2 months. Her mother and grandmother have flown in to be with her but 2 months is a long time. She seems to have a lot of friends and people who care about her so I am sure she has a lot of support but you can never have too many prayers and well wishes.

Thank you all. I don't know what is wrong with me lately. I have been so emotional and I haven't been like that in a long time. I cry when I read her struggles and now I am crying when I read your support. I know prayers and well wishes can help people. I know they have helped me and I am sure they will help her.
