My daughter won't eat things that are store brand.  It's like she has an aversion to me saving any money.  Of course I get around it by switching boxes when possible or not letting her see the packages while I am cooking.  Honest to god, she can't tell the difference although she swears she can.

Hi Roz, glad your lemon tea came.  I know you missed it.  I'm still in New Orleans, eating my way through the city.  Actually, I haven't done too badly.  Last night had red beans and rice, today for lunch had turtle soup and a salad.  Lunch yesterday was oysters and oyster soup.  Tonight we are going to a fish place.  Yesterday for breakfast, we ate at the concierres room and I had too much sugar.  None of the bread stuff was low sugar, everything else was fruit, sweet yogurt and hard boiled eggs.  So this morning I ate at the resturant and had eggs and caguin sausage.  too fatty but at least the sugar didn't make my heart race.    I've been good about getting in 3 protein drinks a day and a protein bar, haven't had any alcohal, and have been doing my exercises.  In fact I spent an hour on the bike today over 2 sessions.  It will be harder tomorrow because I have a presentation in the afternoon and one Sunday morning. 
I'll keep posting when I have time.

Hi Roz!  Sorry I've been MIA in so long, but traveling for work and going to Chicago with my daughter for fun won out!!

I did NOT do well with vits OR protein drinks while gone.  Of course I ate protein first.. etc... 

B - coffee
L - some triscuits and a GNC protein pudding
S - SF mocha latte
D - lentil soup and chicken wings

Vits:  yes, did better today
Water:  ok

I am having one of those days where nothing sounds good.  I want something, I just don't know what. 
The kid is spending the night at her friend's so I have the night to myself.

B double protein decaf
L crock pot roast beef with onions, Nut Thins, Laughing Cow wedge.
D Still undecided, could be more roast or my chicken chili.  I am hoping I have another serving of taco casserole hidden somewhere in the freezer.  That sounds good.

Hello from the deep Freeze of AK

early morning: coffee with fat free creamer
breakfast: green protein shake
skinny latte
Lunch: potato and leeks soup
snack: ready to drink protein
dinner: bake potato
snack sugar free fudge pop

insurance okay to surgery so I will fly down to Anchorage on the 4 with surgery on the 5 at noon ugh
I dont like it being so late in the day. oh well :) on the bright side the kids are staying with friends for the week that I have to be gone so I am calling this a surgery vacation for the hubby and I

the ugi looked good just a significant slip but he did not see any erosion. so the plan is to go in and put my band back where it belongs or replace it all together. but if the has to take it out and not put a new one in because 1-erosion that was not seen on the ugi 2-the band is really mangled around my stomach he will not put one back. And that WORRIES me! because I am not sure my insurance will replace it with another surgery.
