They just announced here that they hired the new student services administrator - our current one is retiring in June, and has been such a strong advocate for putting the kids' needs before school policies and such that families move here because of our programs.
They hired a bimbo who can sling the lingo, but not answer any questions.
I have 3 years until I can retire. I wanted to stay another 10-12, but I may be gone in 3. I'm fortunate that I have the second most seniority of my position, so unless I really **** her off, I should be okay - but...
it's no fun.

Working today and plan to run tonight. Wanted to increase my distance, but really am tired this afternoon. My husband and his brother were here for 10 days. It feels good to have some time to myself again. I'll start missing him next week.
Today,I had 4 week foot surgery doctor follow up. he was very pleased with the mobility of my foot/big toe. he gave me a little exercise to do last time that I have done faithfully. still swollen but he said it will take time for that to go away. I am wearing all my shoes with no problem.
Went to get dog food and pick up my raw milk. Came home and made homemade lunch meat and home made caesar salad dressing.
They let another corporate person go yesterday and it was announced this morning :(
