It's Friday!!!!   A 4 day work week was great but I still had 5 days of work to do!  A guy my DH works with just told him he had a RNY.  He gave his e-mail address to DH so I could contact him.  He is down 89 lbs....Yeah for him!!   I think he said he has 45 to go.

He needs Protein Powder Suggestions.  He said he can't stand the smell and has to hold his nose (we've all been there...LOL).  I'm going to suggest Getting a cup with a lid from GNC, Syntrax Lemon Tea, and the Matrix Mint Cookie that I use.  Also Gina's famous coffee!  Any other suggestions would be GREAT!!!!

That's a shame you don't like them but I'm glad you still drink them.  I feel that way abou****er.  It makes me gag.

I guess he drinks them but holds his nose.  I think maybe a shaker cup with a lid might help him.  I never smell mine until I take off the lid and then it hits you...LOL

Good Menu!

Today is my first day back to work and all I can say is thank goodness for the protein drinks.  I wouldn't have any nutrition today.  It's going to take a little getting used to these new requirements and my busy work schedule.  Plus I have a State inspection that has me a little wound up.  I know we will do fine, but every extra moment has me checking and double checking details.

It is hard to get on a schedule when you first go back to work or for some when they go on a vacation.  You'll figure it all out.  I've found that the best thing for me is to have everything I need at work so I don't have to drag things (and forget them) at home.  I keep an extra shaker cup, calcium, powder, soup etc. in a drawer.

I bet everyone's happy you are back.  Any compliments or concerns from your fellow workers?

Good Menu!  Snacks are overrated anyhow....LOL

Everybody does seem happy that I'm back.  That's always nice.  Everyone has said that I look great!  I've only lost 20# so I'm surprised they can even tell.  :-)  One lady approached me because her daughter is MO and asked about my surgeon, etc.  Of course there are tons of questions about my eating habits.  I don't mind.  They are only curious not rude or malicious.  It is nice to be back.  Staying home is only fun if I can shop.  I'm losing weight too fast to buy clothes for myself so I couldn't even do that!

Good afternoon.  I think its been a good day so far.  I saw my new primary care doc today.   She says Im sleep deprived and the labs my surgeon had run on Wednesday look good.  I have to wait till Feb 7th to go over them with my surgeon.   She also gave me an inhaler so hopefully I can do more workout time that I want to do.  I needed an inhaler in school, and thats a big reason why I avoided exercising.   I just hope I can start getting more sleep.  I stay up because my husband gets online at night and thats when we get to talk, then my daughter has been waking up super early lately.  So sleeping pills are out of the question, I just hope I can manage it soon because it has been affecting my mood big time.

P: Protein Coffee
B:cutie orange ( I was rushing to get my daughter off to school, no excuse)
S:no snack I was at a Dr.  appt
L: Steak and steamed veggies from the under 550 menu at Applebees
S: Cashews, Nectar Fuzzy Navel
D: left overs from lunch

Oh Roz the only protein powder I found that I can stomach, is fuzzy navel nectar and chocolate whyabloic from GNC ( it is so yummy in my coffee, tastes just like a mocha)

Is DH overseas?  How old is your little one?  Our DGS has been getting up during the night.  When my DD's house is built it's going to be sad when they move but I will probably be more relaxed and get more sleep.  I know I'll have more money....LOL.

I was watching the Today show and they said lack of sleep can cause all kinds of health problems.  I take 1 generic (Walmart brand) tylenol PM every night and I don't have any trouble waking up if it's necessary.  I bet if you even cut 1 in half it might be just enough to relax you.

I stick to the same Protein Drinks every day.  It never gets boring for me. A lot people like the Fuzzy Navel but it wasn't my favorite.  If you need to change it up a little then add some crystal lite or some MIO flavoring.  I use my chocolate in my SF hot chocolate....yum.

I drink a Protein Drink for breakfast every day so you did good drinking a coffee and having a cutie orange.

I love the steak and veggies meal at Applebees.  I always  get the one with shrimp too.

Good Menu!
