Ok Roz,  I am ramping up my protein today.  I'm a little nauseated today so I'm depending primarily on protein shakes.  I tried 2 oz of grits during a weak moment last night and they didn't sit well at all!

B:  Atkins Advantage. 15 g
S:  laughing cow cheese wedge 4 g
L:  cottage cheese. 7 g
S:  Syntax lemon tea 1.5 scoops. 34.5
D:  meat balls 9 g
S:  Atkins advantage 15 g

Total protein 84.5.

64 oz water 3 calcium 2 MVI 1 B12 1 iron

Is that better?  I'm taking suggestions.

You will have days like that.  It's strange how each day is different.  Something might night agree with you one day and then you don't have any trouble the next and vice versa.  I still have bad days and those are the days I have to fight the carb monster.

60+ grams from Whey would be perfect...

Good Menu!

Hi Roz,
I've pretty much gotten back on track.  I don't think I could do it without the protein drinks.  They sure help to keep me full and occupied drinking instead of trying to find something to put in my mouth!!
I hope to get off early today to go see DGD#1 and check on her arm.  Her granddaddy is going with them to the orthopedic doctor today.  She was excited that he was coming to go with them.  He will probably have to help with her if they put a cast on it.

I'm not a lemonaid fan, protein or otherwise, but I have found mixing the protein with a tube of crystal light and lots of water make them taste way different.  Maybe someone will have some ideas for your roadside lemonaid.  Protein is too expensive to waste it.
