How's that for a subject title?

Wish I had a good paragraph in mind to go with it.... Got any ideas?

Blessings
1) I have a job at least until the end of Jan...there's a chance a job will be advertised at the HQ I could qualify for but do I really want to go back there to sit in a cube the size of a postage stamp with a hundred other loud peeps?

2) Son#2 is home from school safe and sound with a degree that is number 3 on the most unemployed. Do we send him back to school in the same field or let him go to NY unemployed with a hope and a prayer?

Your blessings sound a little tough.  I'm glad you are seeing the silver lining of them though.  Any word on Danni?

Danni was able to have food and fluids yesterday and they had gotten the drain placed near the abscess. I think that's a good sign.

Good Morning Gina!

Have you been looking for another job with a gov't contracting agency?

Blessings
Hmm... lots of them I suppose - glad I have this job.  If you find yourself without a job (or even want to just test the waters), we can always give your resume to Joe and he'll distribute to his cronies - especially since you do have military medical knowledge.

Son - let him go with a hope and a prayer.  They need to spread their wings and do things their way - he may be back to go back to school sooner rather than later... and its good if its HIS idea.

Blessings:  1) that is a hard one.  So many things come into play.  Do you really need to keep working, what other possibilities are there, how much do hate sitting in a cubical.  These days, my contractors and I are just happy to have our old jobs, even with the changes and reduced pay.

2)  DD when all the way though Phd in philosophy and we were trerrified she wouldn't find a job but she did.  If they have a burning desire, they have to follow it and make it happen.  Kiss him and move him on his way.  Don't let him get to comfortable at home for sure.

My blessings.
It isn't raining today.
Although I can't be with them, my ponies are out in the pasture waiting for me.
I scheduled with a new PT yesterday who I hope will be able to get my knee moving more.
WLS for me was successful and I feel so blessed to be going through my knee issues at 113 instead of 220.

My wish is for you to have a job til eligible to retire...right where you are (if that is what you want)
Also, as hard as it is...let him spread his wings...where has he been job hunting...we went thru that many times over the years and I have a bunch of sources.

My blessing...got the blood glucose part of my lab testing for the year (it's done by my pcp not my surgeon) and it's down AGAIN...

In Oct 2010 (pre-op) it was 8.2
In April 2011 (post op) it was 6.4
In Oct 2011 (post op) it was 6
Now it's a 5.9!!!!

Anything below 6 is considered non-diabetic range. What this means is mine is truly in remission!!! I do tell people when asked if I have diabetes that yes, but it is diet controlled.

I am with Price, send him on with love and let him find his way. I speak from experience, don't let him get comfortable at home. He will be fine.

As for me, the blessings:

1) My family, my rock(s)
2) Income, I am blessed to have time away from work and have a good cash flow while I continue to get better.
3) My art, without it, I don't know where I would be

My blessings are always my family.  As long as my kids and grandkids are healthy I am good.
I am blessed to have an opportunity to go back to school and upgrade my skills and to be healthy enough to work.
I am blessed that my dog JJ has been with us a year longer then predicted even though he has been having problems and my other dog Tazzie seems to be recovering from her cancer surgery.  My dogs are such blessings to me.
I am blessed to be able to have a home and to be able to pay my bills in this tough economy.  I have a car and a lot more material things then I really need or deserve.
