Changed my avatar why isn't changing?

Is there a delay in changing the avatar from the time you up load the new one? I am very confused. I have up loaded it but it isn't changing! Uggh technology is good when you know how to use it!~ LOL
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

We see it.  But the last time I did mine, I had to hit refresh to see it although everyone else could.  ?????? but it worked.
