I hope they get your BP figured out.  It probably will help if you can keep track of when it's high.  Since the coffee never bothered it before there is a chance that isn't what caused it to sky rocket.  I wouldn't give up on the Protein Coffee unless it does it continually.

Roz,

This is the first time my BP went up since surgery...it has been normal since surgery well, except for after I had the coffee.  Guess I can't hack a double shot espresso or even a 1/2 serving of a double shot espresso. BTW, haven't needed my meds since surgery as well.  I will see what the doctor says, I will update.  I am not a diehard drinker though, just like the taste every once in a while...and can live without it if need be.

I've been really happy with decaf after the initial change over.  When I have had real coffee has been when I am driving and really need to stay wake. I don't think it affected my BP but of course, didn't have anyone there to take it.   It keeps me awake for hours when I used to be able to have a cup and go to bed without a problem.  The Nectar Cappichino is caf free so you may like that as an alternative.

I had a good day.  Craving Tacos...So I am going to get one tomorw and throw the shell away.

The scale has got to start moving or I am going to move it to the curb!!!

Hey all! Here was my today:

B: Choc, PB almond milk shake - 40
S: was gardening so I missed my snack
L: chix soup - 20
S: peanuts - 10
D: mot cheese/tomato salad and meatballs - 20
S: jello w cool whip

All in all, not a bad day. Went out to dinner with the folks and wasn't tempted in the least by all of the goodies! I am so happy to have the carb monster in check!! trying for more protien tomorrow.
