Afraid: How far did you go below goal weight before stopping loss?

I am still losing 3-4 pounds a week.

I am a size 2 in almost all clothing and a size 4 still fits baggy.  I had to shop in the little girl's department recently when trying to find a good fitting sweater.

I have increased caloric intake significantly. I basically eat whatever I want. I got Godiva for Christmas and haven't even slowed weight loss having those for dessert.

I tried to increase volumne of food eaten and just end up getting sick (tossing cookies), so I'm kinda maxed out there. Only so much I can eat. I have swapped up to full fat milk and even removed carb and sugar restrictions from my diet.

I know this sounds a little ridiculous to those still trying to lose weight, but to the light weight veterans please help. I am afraid and my husband is too. Some folks have started asking me if everything is ok medically. I look stick thin. Energy levels are still great, just not slowing down weight loss wise at all. I can't even figure out where the pounds are coming off from cause there's nothing left.

Advice? Silly fears?

I regret nothing, I look like a million dollars, just worried it won't stop. Like the horror movie thinner.

Jean, there is a VSG maintenance group here on OH.  There are lots of lightweights there.  I suggest you go there and ask as well.

Im sorry I'm no help but at 22 months out I'm still trying to shed more weight.

Thank you, I will post there too. I never had any real fear about it until I hit 17 for my BMI. My body shows no signs of slowing down.

At a 17 BMI you might want to talk to your doc about digestive enzymes for a bit. what I did to slow myself down was eat trail mix with dried fruit. I never got close to a 17 BMI so I can't totally relate, but give the trail mix a try it might be worth a shot for you.

There was a similar post a day or so ago that had some great ideas like nut butter, full fat foods, adding cheese to everything.  But I would start with logging your intake so you do know exactly what you are eating.  then you will better be able to tell what is working when you stop losing.  Do you have a Nut that you can talk to?  A good log would be a good thing for them to have to help you also.

Best of luck.  My Chiro yesterday said I needed another 10lbs but I'm still in normal BMI.

Gain 10, but agrees that working out will add muscle and that is what is needed at this point.

Filling in with muscle, really helps to decrease the boneyness and helps a bit with the saggy skin. It does make a difference. We have similar stats, so I know that it will help you. I don't think you want to gain ten pounds. The muscle will help you.

I did look at the post from a few days ago and it didn't really seem very similar to mine. They were still in normal BMI range and they didn't seem to be losing as fast as I was or as little of time out from surgery (7 months), which from what I can find online indicates my loss is not going to magically balance any time soon.

I am logging food now, but someone tell me it is going to be alright? Only post I could find similar to mine was a guy in early december who asked for help and reassurance and didnt really get it. He had lost over 50 pounds below what the doctors thought he would with the surgery. He was in the 160's for weight and still losing fast and afraid. I could just feel it in his post. There was someone like me.
