Last Week 156.8
This week 154.2

Lost 2.6 lbs.

Its been a crazy week.   My daughter started preschool, so those few hours she is at school is hard.  I have been wanting to munch, and have had to curb that quickly.   But a great week as I bought my first size 8 jeans ever.  Single digits amaze me so much.  Now Im ready to see the difference in the mirror, I can see it in pictures.   Now I just need to find a new release for stress, talking about early retirement with my husband is really stressing me out.  Any suggestions besides eating like Im used to?  Also only 4.2 more pounds till Ive lost 100.  It hardly seems to be true, but I can tell I dont ache like I used to, and can keep up with my daughter.

Aimee, you're doing great. As to wanting to much...can totally understand...I'm a grazer.

Yeah, retirement can be stressful...both my husband and I are retired...fixed incomes are the pits.

I told my DH I married him for better or worse but not for lunch.  That worked until he retired and I work from home.  someone has to have an outlet away from home.  We have been married for 39 yrs but I still don't want him around all the time, especailly since my "office" is in the family room.  Summers are fine, he can play golf but not in the cold weather.

Aspan, you're doing great.

How's hubby doing? Is he really starting to notice a difference yet, esp in his clothes?

Liz, thanks for asking..he is doing really well, he is now wearing 3xl shirts from a 8xl (barely fit) from the original surgery, and is starting to run up and down the drive way...the other day I kept loosing him in the store because my minds eye kept looking for that 8x when there was a 3x guy in front of me..lol..Love these surgeries..im a little envious of him though..I think he got the better surgery I just spent the night in the er with an impacted colon..no longer impacted but not fun either, would rather have the other problem! oh well..

Well, talk about a roller coaster.

Last week: 107.6

Previous week: 111.8

This week: 110

Up 2.4 lbs!!!

I think the 107.6 that I held for about 3 days was more of an anomaly and related to not weight training for about 1.5 weeks, because of a sore shoulder. I did a lot of aerobic work, but minimal resistance training. Probably burned up some muscle.

This week, back to the weight training and I have steadily gone up, which I believe is related to the muscles holding on to water. My eating has been good. In fact, I dropped about 100-150 calories/day and stopped eating a couple of problematic foods. I think my body likes the 108-110 lb range.

Gail, you'll be where you need to be. Just up the protein...

So you're helping me ride the roller coaster??? Not fun but it is interesting. As long as my ups aren't too high, and my lows keep going lower.

My protein is pretty high at about 125 grams/day. I've had a VSG, so I don't have the malabsorption going on. I'll see how this week goes. I think that I am back to my normal range.
