WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!

Over the hump day already!!

Well...I'm down 2 of the 4 pounds I gained over the holiday.  I don't think it will take long to get the other 2 off if I stay away from the sweets.

DD is aching all over today and in a very crappy mood (glad I came to work...LOL) but finally stopped throwing up.  The 2 IV bottles did the trick yesterday.  Thanks for all of your good thoughts!

It sounds like today is pretty good and you are trying to take control.  It did seem like a really long holiday...probably because it was on the weekend.

I'm not sure where I do best or worst at.  It depends on who has junk food laying around....LOL.   I'm trying really hard at work today to avoid the kitchen.

LOL...I'm planning on working forever unless DH's moods improve a lot after he gets to retire.  He hates working out in the cold in the winter and in the heat during the summer. He is miserable all weekend just thinking about going to work on Monday.

Where does your parents settle at in FL?  If it weren't for the girls and grandkids I would love to do that.  My DH's best friend and family moved to Orlando and they all work at Disney.  I can see myself doing that.

I love small pouch days!

Good Menu!

DH was totally miserable before he retired after 36 years of the same job he had had enough.

My parents travel all over Florida most of the time they are on the East coast somewhere.  They work with a group called S.O.W.E.R.S that travel across the country working at churches and different Christian group homes.  Daddy loves the work - mama loves the people!!  I hope they can continue to travel for a long time.  They have a camper that they live in while they are on the road.

Drove 25 miles this morning to go to a meeting that was cancelled while I was driving. DARN.
I have decided I have to go back to being more accountable and weighing and logging. I have gotten slack but started with breakfast this morning. More work but worth it, I know.

decaf protein coffee 35g
eggbeaters, ham, cheese 20g
garden burger 11g
lemon tea 23
baked cheese 8
chicken, salad 28
protein drink 23g

calories 1000
protein 150
carbs 30, the gardenburger was a lot and it wasn't that good but there wasn't much in the house.

Hi Roz!  Day 2 of 5DPT.  Had a Dr appt this morning so got real behind with my fluids.

B - 2 protein coffees, a regular one
L - a double scoop syntrax fuzzy naval w/1 cup of the low sugar orange juice mixed with ice cubes.  Bought a new individual size Oster blender - love it so far!  Just mix, put the sports bottle top on it, and you're good to go!  Easy
D - made a quadruple protein shake!  It was:

2 scoops of chocolate protein
2 scoops of banana nut protein
2 tblspns of chocolate sf syrup
8 oz of milk
2 tblspns of sf ff chocolate pudding
5 ice cubes
Blend

Unfortunately I figured this had well over 500 calories in it - but it did take me quite awhile to drink.  The original recipe called for a banana, and I have this protein and thought I'd use it instead.  It did give the good banana flavor, but next time I'll cut it to 1 scoop of each chocolate and the banana nut.

Vits:  yes
Water:  way way way behind.
