Back home!

After 2 weeks in Salt Lake City I am finally home. My follow up went well, my LAP sights are healing great, and my pain is limited mostly to my right side (where most of my work was done).

The rundown:
No complications. Couldn't handle pain meds so I did recovery with only tylenol. 2 weeks in motel sucked. I am starting to try new things to eat. I have lost almost 20lbs already I hope it slows down because I don't want it to fast. Trying to fit in all my vits, its tough! Same with the water, I am about 50oz or so a day so far. Pushing and pushing!

Sorry I was gone so long but I should be on more because I am HOME!!! wooot!

2 weeks in a hotel would be the pits but you are home now and sound like you are doing very well.  Don't worry about the weight, it will slow down.  Enjoy it while it is seeming just falling away.  Your first job is getting your fluids in, then protein, then vits. It will take a while to be able to do it all.

Walk, sip, rest, repeat.  Welcome home.

I'm so happy for you.  Up to 50 oz of water at 2 weeks sounds like excellent progress to me.  Not to mention a 20# weight loss.  Wow!  I can only hope to be that successful.

I have to return to work at 2 weeks after all.  I was hoping for a month, but Dr. Simper said no.  Do you feel like you could go back to work at this point?  Im just wondering what to expect.  I think I'm going to be exhausted!  Anyway, I'm really excited for you.  I can't wait to read your posts.

I couldn't do it at 2 weeks. I will be going back to work on my 3rd week and I think that is about right for me:) My energy isn't bad just sitting up scrunching my tummy hurts, when doing it for long periods of time. Even though I will be 3 weeks when i get back to work, i am still going to take it easy. I think it is so vital to heal before putting to much energy into working. (ps i have a desk job)
