Approximately how many carbs should I be limiting myself to?

I was 3 months post op on December 20.  I've been using myfitnesspal.com on my NEW phone my daughter bought me for Christmas.  I love being able to carry it with me and track my food on the go.  Any ideas how many carbs I should be limiting myself to?  What do you limit yourself to?

Just can't believe how well I'm doing after the endoscopy - it has changed my life and I feel like a human being again!

When I was in the losing phase I kept the carbs around 50.  When I started maintaining I upped them to 100 and kept increasing them because I was still losing weight.  Now I am at about 150 to 200 grams a day.

My program starts everyone at:

70 g protein

Then they adjust based on your individual cir****tances.

ETA STUPID OH ATE MOST OF MY POST!!

It should have said:

< 800 calories
< 40 g carbs
< 30 g fat
> 70 g protein

Glad you are doing so well.

My program didn't count carbs but limited you to 1, 1/4c serving a day of starchy stuff. I found even when I was eating the same # of calories, around 5 months, I started losing better if I lowered my carbs to around 30 net. Since I am done losing, I allow myself 1 serving a day again. That doesn't count my low starch veggies, salads, greens, etc. I eat those as much as I want or can.

I found myself the most successful when I ranged my net carbs to 50-75 grams..50 for 3 weeks then 1 week of 75..I found that if I changed it up a bit my body never got used to a certain amount..now that I am in maintaince mode I prefer to get 100..anything above that makes me feel bloated but there are days I get up there to 150 (yuck!).
