Might have to canel surgery, 2yr old has hand,foot, and mouth disease

Posted this on the main VSG board, but some of you don't check there..and just want as many prayers as I can get....
So, I went to pre-op Friday. They asked if I had been exposed to anyone with chicken pox, and I said "NO". That night we took our 2 yr old back to the doctor. This is our third visit since Tuesday. At first the dr. said the mouth sores were from her fever because she has a severe ear infection and fever was over 103. Second visit because rash was spreading, doctor said it was imetigo and possible chigger bites from playing out at my sisters farm. Friday night after pre-op visit took her back because her butt was just so raw and she had a blister on her tongue. That doctor told us she believes it is Hand,Foot, and mouth disease. She said it is NOT chicken pox, but my daughter is contagious until the blisters stop weeping. (Similar to chicken pox) If you recall I had to cancel my Nov. 3rd surgery a week prior because I tore my meniscus at work, and had to have that repaired. I am scheduled for surgery Jan. 5th, and I could just CRY MY EYES OUT that I might be cancelled again. Will call the surgeon's office on Monday. I know that I don't want any complications ---but I SO don't want to have to cancel this. Is God trying to tell me something to keep me from having surgery? (don't answer that - I know this isn't God's doing...) It is just so disheartening.

Oh geeze. I feel so bad for you and your daughter. She has got to be miserable. If they do postpone, at least you will be through the holidays and it shouldn't take you 2 months to get rescheduled. I'm swinging for you.

I'm sorry you're baby is not feeling well. My grand kids have all had the same thing around the same age. Preschool age kids seem to bring EVERYTHING home. I dealt with the doctor canceling my surgery too, I know how hard it is for you. Hang in there, I'm sure they'll reschedule you as soon as possible and you'll be on your new journey.

Thank you ladies!! My baby girl is doing MUCH better. (Thanks to Calamine lotion and keeping her completely covered so she can't scratch) I have a sinus infection. At least that's what I think it is. I'm hoping I can killl this thing. My surgeons office is closed today. 
SO I wont know until tomorrow if they cancel me. I will let you all know. PRAYING they wont.
