WOW....Stacey.  I can understand the stress you are under.  The holidays are hard enough without the added grief of having to turn your new pet over to animal control.  I guess you are fortunate that no one was hurt really bad.

I'm glad to hear that the last 2 days have been better for you!   You can do this Stacey!!!

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

WOW - you are under a lot of stress.  I did give a dog away when she started scaring my DD, and there was no biting or anything.  I was horrible saddened by it.  Our next dog was extremely lively and strong, but complete stillness when dealing with children, so we loved her.

Please continue to share with us all of your concerns.  It can really help to talk to others.  We're here - we've all been through the emotional eating (or we wouldn't be here!), and we'll help you when things get less crazy.

Take care
Eliza

Stacey, I am so sorry you had to give your pet up.  I'm glad no one was seriously hurt.

Emotional eating - that is my story too!!  I can do great until about 8pm and then I can really destroy several days in an hour....   I'm trying to have a hot protein drink at night now instead of a food snack.  It has worked the last 3 days.

Good luck - you have come so far and you can do this!!

Thank you everyone for the encouraging words. The bruising is a real pretty shade of red, pink and purple now and does not hurt nearly as bad. I thought about taking a pic of it but dont know.

I am hoping they do euthanize him, while talking to the animal control officer she was very understanding about it all and believes it was something in his brain and the way he was bred. Who knows, I do know I cant have the kids on egg shells every day worried if he was going to hurt him. I know I will get another but just not yet. Thank you everyone.
