It's over the hump day but it feels like Monday. It's hard to believe another year has almost flown by. The older you get and the busier you are the faster it goes. I think I need to slow down a little this next year and enjoy family, friends, and scenery.
I'm going to try really hard to stay out of the cookies today but they are already screaming my name!!!!

It is bitter here and a wind so I went to the grocery by myself and walked in there. DH unloaded everything when I got back. I took a nap.
Yesterday was our 39th anniversary. I had to do training so we will go out sometime when he isn't bowling, DS isn't home and I can take off. After 39 yrs, it doesn't seem to be a rush.

I haven't been using the tracker since surgery. At first I couldn't sit at the computer for long enough but lately have just been lazy. I've been religious about getting my protein in but I know my carbs have gone up. The scale is staying the same, however.

I love german choc. cake with the coconut icing. I don't think I've had any since WLS. I'm glad our sweets are pretty much gone. There are a few cookies left at work but the girls are cleaning the kitchen today so they probably start pitching them.
Menu sounds good!
