Good Morning. Low carbing. I mean it--LOW CARBING...
When I was in the losing phase I stuck to 50 grams and lower. Now I don't keep track but stick with no sugar or gluten. The last I tracked I was averaging about 150 net carbs a day. I found it's not just carbs but what kind of carbs. Almost all the carbs I get are complex carbs and that seems to make a difference as far as the cravings go.
Nothing really planned today. It's kind of that limbo week between Christmas and New Years when nothing really seems to get done.

What's on my mind? My freaking head still hurts. I have days when I don't really get a headache but I get twinges and I bet if I didn't take something as soon as I twinge, they'd turn into headaches. For the past two weeks, every time I've had two twinge days in a row, I get all excited that the next day will be totally headache free and then BOOM something happens and the next day I get a real heache and then it takes 2 more days for it to go away so it's like I'm starting all over.
My docs told me this could happen. People who have been there told me it could happen. But I guess I believed somehow I'd be different.
I'm supposed to do a race in two weeks -- I'm flying across the country to do it -- and I haven't run in almost two months. Or done anything except a bit of shopping (which burns a lot of calories actually).
Sigh.
