The insurance coordinator in my Dr's office is fantastic and has made sure every requirement was checked off for the past 6 months. Today I just couldn't stand it and called. They had received the approval FAX about 15 minutes prior to my call. Pre-op is Jan 2 and surgery is Jan 12. Whew - I can quit worrying...I have already given away 'a lot' of my clothes! I'm so excited I can hardly stand myself....sure hope I can sleep tonight!

Fantastic news!!! I think right after the holidays is a great time to have surgery, so that you're not have worry about learning how to eat with your new anatomy over the holidays.
