After having my endoscopy done last Thursday I have been able to eat without pain
This is my the first time since my RNY surgery that eating doesn't cause me pain.  Whew!

I'm still nervous about trying different things but everything I've tried has given me no problems.  It's so nice to eat something other than yogurt!!!  Just wanted to share something positive for a change.

hurray for you and your scope/stretch.  Yes, it is so much better to be eating and not be so afraid you are going to be sick any minute.  You were enjoying it so much until it went south.  So back to enjoying.  Hurray.

This is great news!!!   A new world of culinary delights awaits!
Keep an eye on how you're eating in case you need to have it stretched again.

I'm so happy for you!!!  Enjoy.  Do keep an eye on it because sometimes it has to be done more than one time.

So glad it worked.....add in something new each day so you take it slow but can still enjoy new things. I still get nervous about trying new things as I havent had the foamies in a while and am happier that way!  I still havent had bread, pasta, any sweets, etc.....mainly due to my weight loss being slow and wanting to try as hard as I can to get this weight off during malabsorption time period.

Enjoy!!!!

Thanks ladies for your support.  I will definately be able to identify the problem if it returns.  I enjoyed having some fish tonight and carrot sticks with greek yogurt -  it's amazing how painless it was!

I also had and upper GI this morning and wanted to die!  OMG!  I realize how important it was to have those x-rays to make sure there were no leaks from the endoscopy last Thursday.  I pray I NEVER have to have that done again.  Drinking 2 bottles of #&%* and having to swallow it while they take a million x-rays was the most painful thing I've ever experienced.

Never had a stricture but my Drs don't do upper GI after surgery.  I had to have one before because of the 2 large hernias I had that were repaired during surgery.  It wasn't bad then, before WLS.  Hopefully you won't need another stretch.
