Good Morning. Crispy critters and singed feathers

My apologies for yesterday's rant. Sometimes I really need to apply a filter from my brain and emotions to my mouth and fingers doing the typing. I will try to do better than making sweeping generalizations...but when I start bashing the bariatric medical community it's almost always meant for those suffering from god complexes, the purposefully uninformed and profiteers. I am equally disturbed by WLS patients who let them get away with it.  Is it ok if I bash the insurance companies?

 We all get upset and are passionate about things.  It is scary what some people are told to do after WLS.  

Back to work today.  DGD2 is coming to story time this morning.  We may go out to lunch.  I need to do payroll today and catch up from being off since Thursday.

We love you, and your passion, even when you rant.  At least it is for a reason.  I am amazed at the lack of knowledge imparted to some folks.  I wasn't amused when my group spoon fed us information but realized it was so everyone would "get it".

DH and I need to go get new phones today.  And my SF syurp stash is about gone since I haven't been out of the house to shop in almost a month.  And of course, all my PT exercises.  The new clinic can't get me in until Friday so I have to keep working between now and then.

I'm "working"....otherwise just occupying space so that I stay on the payroll. Ugh. Anyway different hours, new routine and boring.

Tonight I need to finish the Christmas stocking.

                     No apologies needed...we have all needed to vent...and where better to vent but on here...among kind people who are as passionate about the issues connected to WLS...

               As for today, Im meeting my friend for breakfast...She has stood by me through out my weight loss journey and Im so very lucky to have her...Then finish up the rest of my shopping, as I only have a few things to get my DH....I was a very lucky girl yesterday when DH finished his shopping and came home with a dozen red roses for me!!!!   Think I will keep him!!!

 I basically agreed with what U had to say lol .. and  felt a bit guilty   for perhaps ( a bit ) contributing  to running them off   .

 But  upon reflection based on peoples past attempts at making  outside of OH  sites I think  most will be back ...hopefully a *****astened .

And maybe  the really out there (and frightening ) will stay on Facebook ...  where they can  stalk people  and contact their friends and employers  and generally be WAY more obtrusive and confrontational and negative than here .  

Can't hurt to HOPE .

Perhaps they won't and no telling how many newbies will not be able to get through insurance denials, figure out their WLS surgeon is selling them a band when they know good and well it won't work for them, realize there are more than 2 WLS types out there and they have a right to decide for themselves which one is best for them, blindly follow their WLS surgeon's woefully inadequate vitamin and protein plan or figure out that the pain they're having isn't normal and they should get to the ER ASAP.  

Its not like they all went away Gina . And I don't know exactly what Ms. Cox posted to offend OH so much , but if she threatened to sue them or encouraged someone else to , she deserves being banned .

I would ban a person dangerous to my business or personal life too .

I really think almost every helpful person will very quickly return after they figure out they don't have the many hours required to put in to successfully administer outside sites - especially ones without advertising revenue.

As far as the true troublemakers , the ones who mined facebook sites and posted OHers personal information when they were mad ... or just to bully and intmidate ... I'm REALLY glad theyre gone . Because they WERE incredibly destructive and scared who knows how many people away during the many months and even years they were flagrantly and daily ( if not HOURLY ) perpetrating abuse here .

OH really HAD to do something . And it was very hard I think to separate the baby from the bathwater , especially as many of the "helpful "DS ers also liked to play rough .

But very very few people are banned for "life " .. I have a feeling thats just a rumor and your Diana Tiara will be back posting soon .
