HELP! Final decision pending from external review board!

Hi all...

Well, my request for a revision to the DS from my lapband has been denied 3 times - now it is before an independent medical review board called IMEDECS.  Has anyone dealt with them?  I got an overnight letter today, stating that I have 3 days to send any further pertinent info to them. I'm not sure what I should send, if anything.
At each level, I have written an empassioned letter ( with a lot from the suggested letters here)...not sure if I should do the same again.  I am so very discouraged. I don't know what more I can say to convince them.
How impartial is IMEDECS?  Now I have to wait yet another 30 days....

There is a new board that just started that has a lot of vets on it and one of them is Diana Cox.  She has helped many with insurance issues and she may be able to help you.

Exactly what Tazz suggested. Ask for some help on that board where Diana is. If you need help getting through the registration, let us know.

Now I'm loggin at on new board - but cannot find ANYWHERE a place to post.  Doesn't seem very user-friendly

Bottom right hand corner ... "New Thread"

For some reason, I don't have that option.  It says, "Jump" then a whole list of things - but no new thread.  Above that, under comments, it says "Mark As Read"
Am I blind???

Found it at the TOP of my screen, once I opened topics.  Hope I will get some advice...I have to have anything I want the review board
to read in their hands by Wednesday!
