Friday Just for Fun, a day late
1. Hmmm... I guess it had to be the outfit my dad got for me each Christmas. Mom would give him the size, and he'd go pick out an outfit. Very good taste - once we got past the clash of skirt length by him getting me pantsuits! LOL! - and they always looked great!
Either that or the year I got a recurve fiberglass bow (I was really into archery - amazed they gave me something that could be weapon when my brother and I were always fighting!)
Like Price, I never got the horse either, although now that I've seen Gypsy Vanners (OMG - google a video of Gypsy Vanner DaVinci if you want to see a cutie amusing himself in his paddock!), I'm back to wanting one!
2. I think stay right here, but transplant Camelot's weather: snow on the grass about 6-12", nothing on the roads or driveways. Just a nice, white Christmas!
3. I'm ok with either, but DH insists on real. This year we have a small Frasier fir - we have a young cat who likes to play the piano, and we were afraid that even with the bottom third decorated entirely with bells, he'd be up in it and tipping it over. So far, though, he just sleeps under it! Usually we have both white and colored lights, but this year's tree is small enough that we just did colored and our favorite ornaments.
4. It usually goes up mid-December, and comes down after January 6, so about 3-4 weeks, or until the needles make me nuts.
