Our agency Christmas party is tonight and I made a chocolate trifle, mostly SF for it.  I have been nibbling and tasting all day.  I've been hungry and tired, wonder if it is the sugar and/or extra carbs that have sneeked back in since my surgery.I'm trying to up my liquids since I know that for me, sometimes I think I am hungry when I am thirsty.   I've been doing cheese grits almost every morning because it is easier than anything else and I don't have to stand and cook.  Since I have been on the coumiden, last day was yesterday, I haven't been able to eat all my greens I usually eat.  I'll be happy to be back on something more normal for me soon.

It won't be long Price until you will be back to normal and as busy as ever.  I bet your horses miss you! Your body isn't used to all of the carbs so it might make you a little tired. Sugar and I just don't agree!  It makes me shaky and really tired.   I always turn to oatmeal when I'm tired and don't feel like cooking. 

Have fun at your party tonight.  It will probably feel good to get out.

lol  It's a hamburger patty with rice sticking out. Hamburger, eggs, and leftover rice...tastes like meat loaf.

Carbs can do all kinds of crazy things to your body.  I know they seem to make me hungrier.

Carbs just make me crazy period,lol.

The bean soup is really good and very easy. here is the recipe:
Sausage Bean Soup

1 #sweet sausage browned with onion and garlic,as much as you like
1 can chicken broth
1 can diced tomatoes with oregano and basil
3 cans white beans
1 sm can tomato sauce
salt,pepper,oregano
mix the beans ,tomatoes and spices together with th browned meat. simmer 20 min.
