so far things are moving along very smoothly, i know it's going to be to good to be true though, there has to be a least a few small bumps on the road if not a few huge ones, right ???

i have some paperwork coming in the mail that i have to fill out for the surgeons office then they will review it and make me an appt to meet with them to discuss if they will take me or not... fingers crossed they do !

they require a meeting with a dietician which i already have in place for aug 30th, and  if there is anything else i am not sure as of yet until my paperwork arrives with all the steps i need to take ...

i will update more on my progress as things proceed

Smooth=good!!  Glad to hear things are moving along well.  Expect quite a few more things to happen before the surgery, but it will all get done in time.

Take this time to educate yourself on WLS.  It helps to know as much as the Dr. and NUTs....LOL

Good luck Tanya!  I agree with Roz...definitely take this time to read and research all you can regarding WLS.   I had to do six months of dietician visits, weigh-ins, and support group meetings before my insurance co would give authorization for the surgery.  I remember thinking in January that those six months would never EVER go by fast enough.  Before I knew it I was scheduled for surgery.   I'll keep swinging those critters for a continued smooth journey as you get closer to a surgery date.

Good luck Tanya!  Hoping things continue to be smooth for you on this journey.  I had to do six months of weigh-ins, dietician visits, and support group meetings before the insurance co would give authorization.  Thought my surgery date would NEVER get here!  Hang in and keep us posted!!

Good luck Tanya.  Keep us updated.  I agree with the others for you to read as much as possible during this time.  If you can find Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies, it was a good reference book.

You're making good progress!  There is still a lot more to do, so keep focused on the long term goal and don't get discouraged.
