Despite my best attempts....

Earlier this month I had decided I like where I am in weight.  I added a bit more carbs, even drinking a bit and I am still losing weight.  I realize my honeymoon phase is about over and there might be bounce back, but I am happy where I am.  

Any ideas or thoughts?

Hey there!    I think you're at a good goal weight and you're going to start redistributing and have a small bounce back. I wouldn't add empty carbs including alcohol, or least not very often. You might consider adding probiotics, talking to your doc about digestive enzymes to stabilize your weight, or my fave,...more protein shakes. Adding carbs is such a slippery slope.

 Gina, most days I have 4-5 protein drinks.  It's usually the days I am off work that I then to forget a drink or two.  I am taking GNC probiotics, might have to bump it up some.

 I also got to the point where I wanted to stop losing weight.  What I did was add more protein, more healthy fat and more healthy carbs such as fruits, vegetables and dairy.  It is a balancing act to get in as much calories as you burn and it just takes some time and experimentation to hit that number.  I tried to add in about 100 calories at a time and gradually go up as needed.  I am still working on it.  Hang in there, you will find your level.

I added 100 to 200 at a time and waited a few weeks to see what happened. I stopped eating as many diet foods, starting eating a piece of fruit most days and added a lot of nuts to start with.

Congrats for being successful in your journey!!!

WARNING....WARNING.....adding bad carbs and alcohol during the honeymoon period and still losing weight gives us the false idea that our bodies can handle them.  This leads to bad habits and weight gain after the honeymoon period ends!!   If you like the weight you are at now then you won't like the 10 pounds you might gain when you start absorbing soon.

Would love to have that problem, been stalled since june at 11 months out.
