Still struggling with diet progression! HELP!!!
It' just going to take time Julie... your stomach is different than the norm. The Ramen broth idea sounds good for a warm salty taste. I drank my teas without sweetening and water straight up without crystal light. The thing I loved the most was making S/F jello and filling ice cube trays with it. I could keep track easily of how much I ate, it kept me busy and made me eat slowly because it took me a while to scoop everything out of each one with my little baby spoon, it made me feel like I was chewing, and it counts as a liquid!
Patience. There's no particular place you *should* be by any particular time. We are all different and you are exactly where you are *supposed* to be. :-)

I know it seems like forever but it really has been a short time. Thank goodness for your tube so you can stay hydrated and get protein in.
I do think that an antiacid would help so do call and see about that. In the mean while, there are over-the counter ones that are basically the same thing and could be working now.
Slow, one ounce at a time, warm, not hot or cold. Warm teas and broth worked best for me. Your taste will change so just because you didn't like something before surgery, don't write it off now. It may be wonderful now.
Keep sipping, walking and resting and it will all come together for you in time.
