Hi Roz!!  Tonight is family dinner night and Tom has lasagna planned.  Not real thrilled with that.  I'm going to have to see what else I can stir up.

B - 1 protein coffee, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, 1 piece of wheat toast and some corned beef has.  My "full indicator" is just kicking in...
L - probably nothing - late bfast and a BIG one
S - pistachios
D - 1/2 piece corn on the cob and crab salad

Vits:  yes
water:  ok

The last time we had lasagna I mixed up all of the cheeses and meat sauce minus the pasta for me and it was delicious.  I didn't feel like I was mixing a thing.

Have you been having trouble with your "full indicator" lately?  Mine is letting me eat but then I pay for it later.   I think I need to start remembering what I used to eat and then stopping myself.

My full indicator is usually in good operating form.  Today it just wasn't.  I really didn't feel too full, but I did eat more than I think I should.  Tom even commented on it... so its pretty bad...

He had the lasagna already all made up and in the freezer, so he just pulled it out.  He's made a salad and bought some cauliflower.  I was thinking of trying to make mashed cauliflower for dinner.

I just finished my ironing and I've been thinking about a nap.  I'll probably catch up on a few posts and then read a book.  The birthday party was cut short because a bad rain storm was on it's way.  It just starting pouring so I guess we are housebond for the rest of the day.

I've never heard of white chddar pimento cheese.  That sounds good!

Sounds like a good menu Linda!!

I finished my ironing - hooray!!  Now I don't have to get up every morning and do it.

Sorry your birthday party was cut short.  I went to Zumba and the door was locked - guess they told us no class today but I wasn't paying attention. College classes start back tomorrow and I think they were having some kind of back to school thing this afternoon.

I got the recipe out of a little magazine that comes in the newspaper called "Relish".  It was pretty good.
2 1/2 cups of Vermont Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup coarsely chopped green olives w/ pimentos
1/3 cup light mayo
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Combine all ingredients and mix until well blended.  Cover & refrigerate.

Per 1/3 cup serving - 200 calories, 18 grams fat, 10 grams protein, 1 gram sugar, 0 fiber, 560 mg soldium.

It was really good.  I have never put olives in my pimento cheese.  I usually just use pimento's.

Do you chunk or shred the cheese?
