Good Morning. It too dang hot and other stuff
I hesitate to say this but it's not that hot where I am.
I don't eat a lot of diet-y foods. I do eat a lot more nuts than I used to. Before I would eat carby things like cookies instead.
My main "substitution" is exercise. I do a lot of that and, as a result, don't have time to spend hours on the computer or in front of the tv eating.

DH had to come home from work today because the heat was finally getting to him after working outside all week.
I drink Protein drinks instead of Diet Pepsi.
I use 100 calorie microwave popcorn instead of inhaling a big bag.
Jerky, Cheese, and fruits are my snacks instead of banana flips or cookies.
I used to love candy bars but they are none existent now but occasionally I'll eat a protein bar.
Loved french fries but now I'm satisfied with 3 or 4 instead of a whole order.
I rarely eat bread or pasta but if I do I try to have whole wheat, Arnold's thin rolls etc.
I rarely eat mashed potatoes and Instead of baked potatoes with butter I eat a part of the skin from DH's baked potato and it completely satisfies me.

I had already gotten into some good habits from doing WW so much.
One change I've made is using Molly McButter instead of real butter. Something not so good was I used to eat granola bars every day; I don't even like them now. I also would eat some kind of dessert every day, and now I don't have much of a taste for sweets.

well I gave up the buckets of air popped popcorn in front of the TV . Mainly because chewing the kernels was messing up my veneers .
Ive been drinking a lot more water .
ive been having aprotein shake in the afternoon with ice rather than eating ...
as far as food goes Ive been conciously trying to eat til Im full and then no more .
Its surprisingly litle
I keep wanting to take extra bites just to chew ..
just t taste ...
just becauseits a normal portion ..
jus tbecause im " entitled "

I agree that you need to drink fluids. When Liz, me, and Kelly were in NYC, the temperature was just south of Hell. We drunk water almost continuously and was still dehydrated.
