We took my daughter out to dinner for her birthday last night. I fully intended to have a margarita...It was intended and planned. When I left from work, I'd had 1100 calories and 4 containers of water. I got to the restaurant and had a big glass of water.

How it stacked up:

5:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am oatmeal, tvp, soy protein, soy milk,
7:00 am 12 oz SoBe Protein Drink Mix
8:00 am 10 oz coffee wNSA Swiss Miss
8:30 am 4 oz Dannon Yogurt, 1/4 cup TVP
9:00 am 12 oz SoBe Protein Drink Mix
10:30 am 5 oz turkey, 1/2 cup green beans
11:00 am 24 oz Power Edge Drink Mix, Tangerine Strawberry
1:00 pm Hunts Snack Pack SF Pudding, 1/4 cup TVP
1:30 pm 12oz Wylers Drink Mix, Lemonade
2:45 pm SoBe Crispy Meal Replacement Bar
3:15 pm 12 oz Wylers Drink Mix, Lemonade
4:30 pm 24 oz Hawaiian Drink Mix, Lemon Berry Squeeze
6:30 pm 15 oz water, 1 margarita - and it was GOOD! I got PLOTZED!

7:00 pm I had about 3 bites of a Guiltless Black Bean Burger. Yikes. The first bite was apparently too big and I didn't chew it enough. I was HURTIN!

Sorry it took till this morning to get Thursday posted but that margarita made me lose track of my chewing and that first bite killed me. Then because I couldn't eat and I was in pain, the margarita effect didn't go away for a long time. I actually had to sleep it off. I'll be much more careful in the future or I'll have to quit drinking if I lose control like that...Really makes you think..too late but I'm still thinking.

I was partly to blame as I was partying with our daughter, our new son in law, and our son to notice what you were doing. You have had many margurita's before and there was never a problem. Two things I noticed were different, you did have a glass of water before the margurita which I don't remember you doing before, also, you ordered something different, a veggyburger, which I thought would be a good idea since you already had your protein up around 120 for the day. Keep your protein where it was, increase your cals and carbs if possible. I was totally unaware of you as you started eating it, and that is where things went wrong. Only you can decide what happened from then on. I can only reflect what happened after you realized something was wrong. You were in pain as we left, we dropped off the kids then headad home. You seemed OK after we got home, you showered and went to bed, a little light headed but no longer in pain. This has been and will always be a learning curve for us as everything has changed since the surgery. Almost nothing is the same and your eating habits are totally different and they needed to change. You are a picture of health now, in excellent shape, and have extended your life by many years, for that I am truly greatful. to you and the surgery

Here the damage for Thursday!

Early AM:
16 oz coffee with splenda & half n half

Breakfast:
2 med eggs scrambled with cheese
2 turkey sausage patties

Snack:
Orange

Lunch:
2 oz Chicken breast.. sauteed with peppers and onions
1/4 C. brown rice then stirred in 1/4 c. frozen chopped broccli

Snack:
South beach diet protein cereal bar
Small peice of chocolate  cake in a meeting at work

Dinner:
Smart On'es frozen dinner

Snack:
NSA Yogart
