Hi everyone.  Happy Thursday.  Question if you have had a Tummy Tuck?  Only about six weeks out, and my incision toward my right hip in the back hurts after sitting for long periods.  Is this normal?  Dr. told me swelling will not go away until Feb. so I cannot really tell outside if something is wrong, but it sure gets sore.  My friend is a nurse and she says it is totally normal because skin is pulled so tight.  Just wondering.  Just started a new job too where I am sitting all the time.  I am such a worrywart.  Have a great week and thanks!!

Yep!  I'm about 8 weeks post LBL and I still feel tight and sensitive along the incision line - especially by the end of the day.  Plus your pants might be rubbing on it or pressing on a sensitive spot.  I also still have some numbness in my upper thighs that is gradually getting better but still feels weird!

I just came home from the hospital yesterday.  I have numbness in both thighs.  Not really any pain anywhere else, just the sensitivity of the surgical area.  Did they explain to you what numbness is from?
