side effect .... constipation
It only took me 11 yrs of trial and error.
I might not need the stool softners (colace) any more. The mag ox made more difference than anything. But I'm not giving up the Miralax. After all those years of passing stool larger than my babies, I'm sticking with the nice predictable "rope" format. LOL

P.S. My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.
I agree with you on the Miralax. It is a miracle! No more plugging the toilet! How embarrassing was it for me when I was at my in-laws and had to ask for a plunger? I wanted to blame my husband!
I eat my poop cereal (Fiber One) and drink my poop medicine (Miralax) daily!
Bottom line though....I'd rather be poopy than fat!

It's better to be imperfectly happy than perfectly unhappy.
I always say it stands for MIRAcle LAXative, but it isn't really a laxative. It doesn't MAKE you go, it LETS you go. Big difference.
I take my mag ox and my Miralax only when this issue is important, which is, oh, maybe daily? LOL
