At 16 months out I had my first SERIOUS Dumping episode...xpost
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I think the trial and error part, is the part I'm having difficulty with because I've repeatedly successful tried and succeeded, then POW! and what a failure, but I don't know what to attribute that failure to... I didn't have too much, they were high fat, they weren't sweetened, I hadn't had other stuff before ... I just can't figure it out.
Oh well.
Thanks again,
Barb

I was like you. I about passed out. I had to sit down. Clammy and sick feeling them tired for hours.
I called it dumping. I just do not know why Crystal Light caused it.
Sometimes i think it is chemicals. other times Crystal Light would be fine.
What bothers me one day may not bother me next week.
Strange pouch...
Hang in there.
Hi Debbie,
Thanks for the response. I wish I knew what caused it so I could reliably avoid doing it again. Not exactly something I'd like to repeat, if you know what I mean.

Michelle,
I'm so sorry that it happened to you, but I'm glad it hasn't happened since. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

is no fun for sure, and sometimes even 2 1/2 years out, it just hits me by surprise.
ive learned for example that if i eat carrots, even cooked, they somehow clog up my pouch and i cant eat anything else with them. they are one of my big problems, i used to adore carrots.
other than that though, its been totally random which is upsetting because my day can be going along fine, and wham, a dumping episode.
hope your ok, jacki
Hi Jacki,
Thanks for your response. I don't think that I ate the walnuts overly fast. I think it took about 10 minutes to eat about a 1/4 cup and they weren't combined with anything else ... and I have eaten nuts by themselves before without a problem, but how knows. I'm sorry that this happens to you; and I'm really sorry that it seems so totally random. How very distressing that must be.
Thanks for your concern. I'm fine. I just wish I knew what caused the dumping so I could reliably avoid it.

Hi Jacki,
While it isn't the answer I was hoping for, I appreciate knowing that it just might be a bit of roller coaster ride.
Thanks again ... and happy new year!
