Sneezing while eating

I am 3 years out as of September 26th and I was wondering if anyone else sneezes while they eat?  Does anyone know what causes me to sneeze?  This started happening my 2nd year out and it is happening more and more. I doubt it has anything to do with allergies unless I have just developed an allergy to some foods.  Also I am wondering if has to do with overstuffing and blocking something because after I sneeze my stomach feels a little empty as if it helped push the food through.

I am 3 years out.. and I have always noticed that when I am full my nose runs or itches and sneezes.. I know I have heard before there is some connection but I never really got it...

I am 3 years and 2 months out and I have always sneezed when I eat. My nose will stuff up. Then I will burp a few times. Pouch gurggling. And I can feel my food go down. I don't have no clue that is up with this.....I sure hope somebody else knows. I will keep looking at your replies...

Thank for the link, I found it interesting and helped better understand.  It at least mentions other people with the same sneezing with the last bite for a full stomach.

Thanks for the info. I too sneeze, but only when I'm really hungar and have not eaten in awhile. I always wondered why this reflex happened. Now I know! Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. I asked my other GBP friends and they didn't have this... so I thought I was just weird!

If I eat 1 bite too much I sneeze for several minutes. And YES, my nose runs when I eat, thankfully not too much.

I"M 18 MONTHS OUT AND IT HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIME. mY FAMILY THINKS ITS FUNNY i sneeze about 15 times.

Some ppl get a runny nose.

Either way, it has a name: gastric rhinitis

Usually it means you are full. Might mean TOO full.

But it happens to normies, too.

gastric (having to do with the gastro - stomach)
rhin- (nose)
itis (irritation thereof )
